Scrubs è quel telefilm che la tua ragazza guarda quando si incazza con te perchè vorrebbe avere un ragazzo più "sensibile". È un documentario medico collocato all'ospedale Sacro Cuore, che non è né sacro e né a forma di cuore. È a proposito di un tizio che si crede un dottore chiamato J.D. (Geidì per gli amici e per chi parla Itagliano) che ha dei seri problemi mentali, infatti sente continuamente delle voci nella sua testa, che lo obbligano a raccontare la sua vita incessantemente. A causa di questa condizione, J.D. ha tentato più volte il suicidio, fallendo miseramente.

J.D. e Christopher Turk, il suo partner sessuale, hanno superpoteri, come nei Power Ranger. I due possono fondersi per diventare Super Esseri, come "Il Dottore più Gigante del Mondo" e "I Gemelli Siamesi Multietnici".

Percival Cox, il più fico e il più intelligente dell'ospedale, (eccetto quando Chuck Norris è nelle vicinanze) odia il suo lavoro, la sua vita, addirittura la sua intera esistenza, e lo racconta a chiunque incontri, che lo ascolti o no. Non gl'importa.

L'Inserviente è un malato mentale, infatti si diverte a impagliare gli animali e ad avere con loro rapporti sessuali. Il suo secondo hobby è tormentare incessantemente J.D.(anche questo sintomo di grave malattia mentale), del quale sembra sia innamorato. Ha inoltre una cotta anche per Elliot Reed, la sfigata dell'ospedale. In effetti, si pensa che sia bisesso.

Bob Kelso è uno strano vecchietto che si aggira per l'ospedale con una lista di nomi credendo di esserne il primario.

Ci sono anche dei personaggi secondari, ma a nessuno importa.

Il Dottor House ha detto che guarda Scrubs per tentare di migliorare il suo pessimo spettacolo. Quando il Dr. Cox lo è venuto a sapere, ha scatenato su di lui tutta la sua ira. Nessuno ha più visto House da allora (infatti si crede che sia questo il motivo della fine della scorsa stagione televisiva).

Elliot Reed, chiamata anche 'Dottoressa Bionda' e/o "Barbie," ha una strana mania per i coniglietti che eccita in modo particolare J.D.. This arousal is however actually caused by his obsession with Turk, who married Carla in order to try and overcome the immense gayness developing between him and J.D. In his defense, he and J.D share what they call guy love which is obviously gay-slang for a typical master-slave relationship. In addition to the extremely strong bond they share (both in and out of bed), they also share a preserved dog which probably died after one of their famous "wild nights" in medical school which would involve role playing as well as the necessary cuddling afterwards.

In Scrubs, c'è anche una grassa donna nera chiamata Laverne. Lei e Carla(the dominatrix-like Cuban) are always snapping their fingers and going, "Oh no you don't." Laverne got hit by karma, though, when she got hit by a car. Dopo lei cadde in coma, morì e Carla was all pissy for like 2 weeks. How do you like them apples?

Its also noticeable that 94% of all scenes in Scrubs involve someone falling over. It has been theorised that this is intentional, and there's dope in the water supply of the hospital causing lack of self-control.

Naturalmente, nessun episodio di Scrubs è completo senza un montaggio musicale e alla fine bringing all the extremely creative subplots together under one moral which J.D. explains in a voiceover while una canzone dia band that Zach Braff's discovered suona in sottofondo.

La vera ragione per JD being in love with "Blonde Doctor" is because she is a mancow.

Il drink preferito di J.D., il Melatini, non è, come si pensa di solito, una mistura di Martini e succo di mela, ma una letale combinazione di vodka e analgesici.

It has been revealed that John Dorian is so pasty because he is in fact still a fetus.

Dr Cox cannot ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, eve---er hug JD. If he does, he turns into Bob Sinclair. That wouldn't be very fun now would it.

Group Suicide Pacts Related to the shows ending

A few groups have sprung up around the country, who are threatening to kill themselves after the final episode of the show has aired. Un gruppo di teenagers dello stato della Pennsylvanian "we just won't be able to live anymore with out new episodes being produced". Some of these groups are holding themselves for ransom while others would never want Zach Braff to be blamed for their deaths.

La ragione per cui a Turk piace farsi chiamare "Orso Bruno o di Cioccolato" is because his favorite *wink wink* aunt called him that before she was killed after her husband found her sleeping with Turk.
